Design and Specification of the EPA
An Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA) is defined in BS EN 61340-1: 2007 as "an area, with a defined boundary, within which ESD sensitive devices can be handled with negligible risk of damage from electrostatic discharges or fields."
SSE can assist in the specification, design and commissioning of EPA facilities based on our extensive product range. A team of Field Sales Engineers is available to visit client sites to advise on all aspects of ESD protection.
